Project Details

The Brand identity design for BOWW, a pet food manufacturing business, embarked on a creative journey inspired by the distinctive shape of dog ears forming the letter "W" in the brand name. The client's expectations were clear: to encapsulate the essence of their business in a logo that resonates with the strong connection between pets and their owners.

The logo design process began with a focus on the unique 'W' formed by the dog ears. The challenge was to seamlessly integrate this element into a memorable and recognizable symbol for the brand. After experimenting with various stylistic approaches, the final logo emerged as a clever fusion of the 'W' and dog ears, creating a playful yet sophisticated mark that exuded warmth and friendliness. The color palette, predominantly earthy tones and pet-friendly hues, enhanced the overall appeal of the logo, brings out the happy and playful mood.

For the pattern design element of the brand identity, inspiration was drawn from daily pet accessories and interactions. The repetitive doodle-like pattern incorporated elements such as bones, collar belts, and leashes, creating a visually engaging and cohesive design. This pattern not only reflected the playful and caring nature of pet ownership but also added a touch of familiarity for pet owners who would interact with the brand.

The primary challenge for this project was to incorporate the essence of the client's first dog, Ducky, a bulldog, into the logo design. This required capturing the unique and personal attributes of Ducky's face while ensuring the logo remained versatile and representative of the brand.
