Project Details

Crafting the brand identity for an overseas Indian vegetarian restaurant business was a journey steeped in the artistry of storytelling through visuals.

It was about preserving moments in time where colors, textures, and aromas converged. The vibrant hues of turmeric, the earthy tones of cumin, and the fiery reds of chili powder unfolded a sensory palette that resonates with the authenticity of Indian cuisine.

The logo, crafted from the delicate petals of the lotus, emerges as a symbolic representation. Beyond being a mere visual element, it embodies purity and enlightenment, reflecting the essence of your vegetarian offerings. The lotus logo becomes a quiet ambassador, conveying the brand's commitment to wholesome, authentic culinary experiences.

The inspiration for the pattern design was drawn from the humble clove, a spice that speaks volumes in Indian cuisine. Arranged in a circular manner, reminiscent of Hinduism and the Sanatana tradition's mandalas, the patterns become a visual meditation.

Challenge

Creating minimalistic, Elegant, icon mark that have to symbolize the essence of Authenticity of, Hindu and Ancient Indian Herbs & Spices. Word Mark was not an Option, neither and kinda typography Juxtaposition.

Solution

We used the lotus Petal as Logo lockup with half opened and half brand name symbolizing it is under protection of dharma, and it gives an impression that the restaurant itself is emerging from flower. Which is main motive behind the business. We used the clove as pattern design for the restaurant collateral. People felt the brand very close to their heart because of the branding.

Outcome

We researched a bit by taking photos of typical Indian kitchen & spices, and iconic symbols of sanatana dharma.
